Susan Holt

Susan Holt 's "F" score as a party leader is based on assessment of her personal leadership on 8 measurement categories relating to policy, voting, or actions, summarized as follows:

Summary of Actions

0
Good
5
Bad
3
Neutral
Voting Record
Bad
  • Holt has an anti-family voting record during her time in the legislature.
Sanctity of Life
Bad
  • Supports abortion-on-demand, without restrictions, throughout all 9 months of pregnancy, and considers this form of baby killing to be a "right"
Funding Abortions
Bad
  • Under Holt's leadership, the Liberal Party passed a resolution at its 2024 convention in support of extending public funding to abortions committed outside of hospitals, at private, for-profit killing centres.
  • Holt described the closure of Clinic 554, the former Morgentaler abortuary, as “extremely unfortunate," and was critical of the Higgs PC government for not subsidizing it with taxpayer dollars to kill babies in the womb.
Conscience Rights
Neutral
  • Has not taken a public position on conscience rights protection for healthcare workers to protect them from coercion to participate in or refer for abortion, euthanasia or sex-change mutilation surgeries.
Anti-Free Speech Bubble Zones
Neutral
  • Has expressed no opinion about whether a government led by her would ever entertain the sort of unconstitutional censorship law that has been adopted in other provinces, wherein peaceful protests and the peaceful exercise of free speech has been criminalized within a 50 metre radius of abortuaries, hospitals or schools, even on taxpayer-owned, public sidewalks.
LGBTQ Ideology
Bad
  • Holt is in favour of allowing biological males who identify as transgender to compete in female sports, where, typically, they can crush every real girl, and in the case of contact sports, can hurt them badly.
  • Holt is a vocal opponent of the changes to Policy 713, an update that prevents schools from hiding from parents the fact that their children are identifying as transgender at school, using opposite sex names, or pronouns. She accused Premier Higgs of being “transphobic” for requiring schools to seek parental consent before children are allowed to identify as the opposite sex.
Parental Rights
Bad
  • Has been a vocal opponent of parental rights.
Drugs
Neutral
  • Has expressed no opinion on the calls to decriminalize hard drugs, establish government-run drug dens in New Brunswick neighbourhoods, and hand out free, taxpayer-funded drugs to addicts, as is being advocated for by left-wing pressure groups and some federal Liberals, who want to see this established in every province, under the guise of 'harm reduction'.

NOTE: Always make your voting decision based on the merit of your local candidates, not the Party Leaders. If a local candidate in your riding has a green light rating from Campaign Life Coalition, vote for them, even if the Party Leader disappoints.
